About
Mechanic Street Marina is owned by Jay Douglas, a Marine Corps veteran and Pawcatuck resident. Jay studied mechanical engineering and worked as a boatyard manager in CT before reviving Mechanic Street Marina.
Jay and his family live and work on-site and look forward to continuing to be part of the Pawcatuck and Westerly community and strong stewards of the Pawcatuck River.
Jay, and his wife Suzie, are currently opening a kelp farm in the fisher's island sound.
